Formed in 1994, the Lookout Chapter is one of 116 PRSA chapters throughout the United States. The national Public Relations Society of America, headquartered in New York City, is the largest professional organization for public relations practitioners and has nearly 20,000 members.

The Lookout Chapter has members with occupations representing business and industry, counseling firms, government associations, hospitals, schools, professional services firms and nonprofit organizations.

With three local PRSSA groups, the Lookout Chapter has a strong dedication to supporting the public relations students in the area and providing affordable programming for them.

Member jurisdiction for the Lookout Chapter covers Hamilton, Bradley, Sequatchie and Marion counties in Tennessee, as well as Dade, Walker, Catoosa and Whitfield counties in Georgia.
